Coming Soon to Right Commentary….
Readers!
Let me begin by saying thank you for being subscribers to Right Commentary. The last few days, I’ve been off on hiatus doing errands, etc., as well as studying other blogs and their formats, blog postings, etc., in order to make Right Commentary a better blog.
I have decided to change how Right Commentary, in the coming days, you can expect the following:
- I have stopped the automatic feeds into the blog. After I received some feedback from both contributors and users that the feeds were “cluttering” the content. I will continue to add relevant news manually with our comment.
- I will be writing articles with a “five bullet summary” up top - the “talking points” if you will for each article. This will allow readers to get the gist of long articles quite quickly - allowing them to scan for what they need.
- I have decided to continue NOT to have any advertising at Right Commentary. The advertising distracts from the discussions here. Right Commentary is funded by me and I want to continue to maintain its character.
- I will be adding in the next couple of days what I have been calling the “strategic election board” for readers. This will be a series of pages that will lay out the electoral map, current polling predictions for each state, and the “electoral math” for each state. I will also be developing a series of pages on each of the close Senate races so that readers can follow those races. Since all 435 seats in the House are always up every two years - I may pick and chose a few seats and follow them.
Another section I’m hoping to add is what I call “GOP Activism” - this section is going to focus on things people are doing in our party and things I think readers can do to become better partisans and make the GOP a stronger party. I will have links for various states GOP parties, what they’re doing, and how you can get involved.
Finally, I am hoping to attract more writers from various parts of the party and get them writing on a daily or weekly basis. As it is, Right Commentary is proud to have five additional contributing writers - and I’ll be putting together little bio pages on them as well - so you can see who they are and why they’re writing for RC and working in the Republican Party.
I hope you’ll find these changes useful. As always I welcome your feedback at the contact page.
Thanks for reading Right Commentary!
