Washington, D.C. (Right Commentary): Okay, continuing in the prurient interest meets politics vein, Italian adult film star Milly D’Abbraccio (pictured), who once played the speaker of the lower house of parliament in a film called “L’Onorevole,” wants to make fantasy a reality as she runs for a city hall seat in Rome.

The Reuters news agency reported last week that D’Abbracio, who has been a fixture in the Italian porn industry for over 20 years and is now in her 40s, has been plastering Rome with posters featuring her derriere in a bid to woo the city’s voters.”People don’t want to see these politicians’ faces anymore,” D’Abbraccio, who is running on the Socialist party ticket, told Rutgers.

“I am the derriere of the Socialist party,” she also added.

D’Abbraccio said she wants to create a red light district similar to the one in Amsterdam filled with sex shops and strip clubs called “Love City” which would be located just a short distance from the Vatican.

All I can say is - wow. I can’t imagine what the campaign ads are like…. can you make a donation via a 900 number?

Will she follow in Ms. Cicciolina’s footsteps? Who knows.

I’ll tell you this much - given how much it seems Jenna Jameson has been on CNN - I wonder if she’s planning a run or something.
